About CoverPair
CoverPair helps drivers in the US understand car insurance in plain, multilingual language and connect with a licensed insurance agent or broker. We’re free—and we never sell or negotiate coverage.
Who we are
CoverPair is a free matching service for drivers in the United States. Our goal is to make car insurance easier to understand—especially if you’re new to the US, speak English as a second language, have a foreign driver’s license, or are buying coverage as a young or higher-risk driver.
We are not an insurance company, and we’re not a licensed agent or broker. We don’t set rates, issue policies, or negotiate coverage. Instead, we help you find the right licensed professional to talk with.
What we do (and don’t do)
We help you share a few basic details about your situation so you can be matched with a licensed insurance agent or broker who can explain options available in your state.
We do not provide insurance quotes, guaranteed savings, or promises of approval. We also don’t give insurance, financial, or legal advice.
Car insurance rules and coverage names vary by state and by insurer. A licensed agent can review your situation and explain what options fit your needs.
Why we built CoverPair
Many drivers don’t realize how complicated insurance can be—until they need it. Terms like deductibles, liability limits, comprehensive and collision, and SR-22 (where required) can be confusing, especially when you’re dealing with a new state, a new vehicle, or a new driving record.
We built CoverPair to help you feel prepared. By using plain language and multilingual support, we aim to reduce misunderstandings and help you ask better questions when you talk with a licensed professional.
If you’re unsure what coverage you truly need, comparing options is often the safest way to avoid being underinsured or paying for coverage you don’t need.
How matching works
When you use CoverPair, you answer questions about your general driving and coverage needs. We then help connect you with a licensed insurance agent or broker in your area.
We don’t ask for sensitive identity or policy details. Please do not share your Social Security number, driver’s license number, or policy numbers to get matched.
If you want to understand the process step by step, see How it works. If you’re ready to get matched, start here: Get matched.
How we’re paid
CoverPair is free for drivers. Participating licensed agents or brokers may pay CoverPair a flat marketing/matching fee. That fee is not a percentage of your premium.
Even so, the agent you’re matched with is responsible for the actual insurance discussions, coverage recommendations, and any quotes they choose to provide.
